Our Philosophy

Authentic Italian food – traditional quality – freshly served

La Dolce Vita Shrewsbury Hands

We use only the freshest and finest quality Italian ingredients and are also proud to support local growers and suppliers that enable us to create unique dishes that give you a true taste of Italy.

Our regular menu features authentic yet thoroughly modern dishes from around Italy to meet the highest demands for classic dishes.

Each dish is freshly prepared to order to deliver a traditional quality that characterises our dishes. Our passion for food and drink ensures that we deliver maximum authenticity. It would be an understatement to say that we take great pride in every dish produced.

We are happy to cater for any special dietary requirements  – just let us know when booking.

Unfortunately due to the nature of our menus we are unable to offer vegan or dairy free

Since all our food is freshly cooked to order, please allow our chef time to do so – we are not an Italian fast-food restaurant!

Family Run

Patricia learnt all her skills alongside Luigi’s family in Italy and wants to give that experience to everyone who visits La Dolce Vita.

Since 1999

It was September 1999 when La Dolce Vita opened its doors to an unsuspecting public who didn’t realise that “authentic Italian food” was something other than just pizzas and spag bol.

Premium Service

Customer service, the Italian way. Luigi is front of house and there is always a very warm welcome to all our guests – he greets everyone like a long-lost friend.

Your Chefs

Patricia and Gennaro are your chefs. We pride ourselves in offering the very best of authentic Italian fine dining, served in an informal, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, that quite simply shows a completely different style of Italian dining.

We are extremely proud to have built up a loyal band of regular customers over many years, however we also love to see new faces and hope they will become regulars too.

We hope to see you soon!
